(670 The Score) Bucks forward Khris Middleton will miss the remainder of his team's first-round series against the Bulls due to a sprained MCL in his left knee.
Middleton exited with the injury in the fourth quarter of Milwaukee's eventual 114-110 loss to Chicago in Game 2 on Wednesday night. Middleton will be re-evaluated in about two weeks, the team announced Thursday evening, and it's unclear when he could be cleared to return beyond that.
The injury is a big blow to the favored Bucks, as Middleton is their second-leading scorer, having averaged 20.1 points in the regular season. While his 3-point accuracy dipped a bit to 37.3% this season, he's a feared perimeter threat and is a three-time All-Star.
The series is even at 1-1 between the Bulls and Bucks. Game 3 is Friday evening at the United Center.
