(670 The Score) The Cubs have added righty reliever Brad Boxberger on a one-year, $2.8-million deal, Jeff Passan of ESPN reported Thursday.
Boxberger, 34, had a 2.95 ERA and a 1.23 WHIP in 70 appearances for the Brewers this past season. He struck out 68 batters and walked 27 in 64 innings. Boxberger pitched in Milwaukee for the past two seasons, and Chicago will mark the seventh team of his MLB career.
Boxberger has a 3.44 ERA and 1.27 WHIP in his 11-year MLB career.
