Cubs sign LHP Caleb Thielbar to a 1-year deal
(670 The Score) The Cubs have signed lefty reliever Caleb Thielbar to a one-year deal, the team announced Tuesday.
Thielbar, who will turn 38 on Jan. 31, has a career 3.38 ERA. He has played eight MLB seasons, all with the Twins.
Thielbar struggled last season, posting a 5.32 ERA over 59 appearances and 47 1/3 innings of work.
