Cubs-Brewers game postponed by inclement weather

(670 The Score) The Cubs-Brewers game set for Friday afternoon at Wrigley Field has been postponed due to the cold, rainy weather.

Temperatures were hovering around 40 degrees, and rain was in the forecast all day. The game will be made up as part of a split doubleheader on May 30. The first game that day will begin at 12:05 p.m. at Wrigley Field, with the nightcap set for 6:40 p.m.


Left-hander Justin Steele will start for the Cubs on Saturday, while right-hander Marcus Stroman will go Sunday. Steele had been set to pitch Friday. First pitch is at 1:20 p.m. Saturday.

The Cubs earned a 5-4 win against the Brewers on Opening Day on Thursday.
