Cubs unveil 2025 schedule, will play the Dodgers in Tokyo to open the season

(670 The Score) The Cubs on Thursday released their 2025 regular-season schedule.

As previously reported, the Cubs will play the Dodgers in a two-game series in Tokyo, Japan on March 18-19 to open the MLB regular season. That will mark the second time in franchise history that the Cubs open their season in Japan, as they also did so against the Mets in 2000.

The Cubs will then visit the Arizona Diamondbacks for a four-game series beginning on March 27 to start their season stateside.

The Cubs’ home opener at Wrigley Field will be on April 4, when they host the San Diego Padres.

The Cubs will host the White Sox in a three-game series at Wrigley Field from May 16-18 and visit the South Side for a three-game series at Guaranteed Rate Field from July 25-27.
