(670 The Score) Left-hander Daniel Norris and the Cubs are in agreement on a major league deal, Jesse Rogers of ESPN reported late Wednesday night.
Norris, 28, had a 6.16 ERA and 1.49 WHIP in 56 relief appearances split between the Tigers and Brewers in 2021. That came after he had a solid 2020 campaign, when he posted a 3.25 ERA and 1.16 WHIP in 14 appearances.
Norris has a career 4.65 ERA across eight MLB seasons. He was the third pitcher the Cubs added Wednesday, as they also agreed to terms with left-hander Steven Brault and righty reliever David Robertson.
