(670 The Score) The Cubs are off to a strong 6-3 start to the new season after winning two of three games against the powerful Dodgers over the weekend at Wrigley Field.

"The Cubs look sensational," Score morning host Mike Mulligan said on his show Monday morning.

Most notably, the Cubs' offense has been terrific, averaging 6.4 runs per game, the second-best figure in MLB. Their offense also has an MLB-leading 12.7% walk rate.

"The Cubs are grinding out at-bats," co-host David Haugh said. "They're very selective at the plate. They're walking and striking out at about the same rate, and they're scoring runs. When they score five runs or more, they're 6-0. They're off to a very good start, and you have to credit the offense. You have to credit the way this team was put together."
