(670 The Score) The Cubs have added infielder Dee Strange-Gordon on a minor league deal, Ken Rosenthal of the Athletic reported Wednesday.
The addition comes one day after Cubs second baseman Nico Hoerner exited Chicago's win at Pittsburgh on Tuesday due to a left hamstring strain.
Strange-Gordon, 33, hit .200 with a .482 OPS in 33 games for the Mariners in 2020. He hit .275 with a .663 OPS for Seattle in 2019. Strange-Gordon joined the Reds on a minor league deal over the winter but didn't make the team out of spring training.
