Cody Decker as MLB trade deadline looms: White Sox need to 'get rid of everybody'

(670 The Score) There's no doubt in the mind of The Carton Show co-host Cody Decker what the White Sox should do as the trade deadline looms Aug. 1.

They should be big, big sellers.

"If I'm them, there is not a single thing that's off the table," Decker said on the Bernstein & Holmes Show on Thursday. "Every single guy is up for grabs as long as I get a good return for them. There's a lot of names out there that really can bring back a good return. Tim Anderson still can't get it together, which is unfortunate, because he would've brought in a decent little haul. But you could still get something for him obviously. This guy is a multi-time All-Star. He's just having a really rough year. Lucas Giolito has returned back to form. You can get something great for Lucas Giolito. If a team puts together a package for Dylan Cease, Liam Hendriks – there is name after name after name that this team can bring in a decent haul for, not to mention some high-end prospects."

Decker believes the White Sox need to be willing to make radical change.

"In my eyes, they've got to get rid of everybody," Decker said.

"Who on this team is making too much money that you can't get a return for? The highest-paid (player) in the history of the White Sox is Andrew Benintendi. There is not a single guy on this team that is untouchable."

Before hosting the Blue Jays in a doubleheader Thursday, the White Sox were 37-50 and trailed the AL Central-leading Twins by 7.5 games.
