(670 The Score) White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez rejoined the team Tuesday and could return to the active roster as soon as Wednesday.
Jimenez has been sidelined since suffering a torn hamstring tendon behind his right knee back on April 23. Jimenez hit .246 with two homers and seven RBIs in 17 games in a rehab stint with Triple-A Charlotte recently.
"He's in good shape," manager Tony La Russa said. "Hopefully looks aren't deceiving.
"He said he's ready to go. We're different when he's around."
La Russa indicated that Jimenez has been cleared to play the outfield.
Jimenez is hitting .222 with one homer, seven RBIs and a .590 OPS in 11 games this season.
