Report: White Sox nearing agreement on deal with reliever Kendall Graveman

(670 The Score) The White Sox are about to bolster their bullpen early in the MLB offseason.

The team is nearing an agreement with righty reliever Kendall Graveman in free agency, Jon Heyman of MLB Network and Audacy Sports reported Tuesday afternoon. The deal is expected to be in the three-year, $24-million range, Heyman reported.

Graveman, 30, posted a 1.77 ERA and 0.98 WHIP in 53 relief appearances split between the Mariners and Astros in 2021. He also struck out 9.8 batters per nine innings. Graveman has a career 4.15 ERA in seven MLB seasons.
