(670 The Score) The White Sox have hired former MLB manager Jerry Narron as a major league instructor, they announced Wednesday.
Narron, 65, previously managed the Rangers (2001-'02) and Reds (2005-'07) and has served as a bench coach for five different organizations, including most recently the Red Sox in 2020. Narron is a former catcher who was an eight-year MLB veteran, so he'll help work with that position group.
In other staff news, the White Sox promoted James Kruk to head athletic trainer and Brett Walker to director of rehabilitation.
