(670 The Score) White Sox closer Liam Hendriks has been named the American League Reliever of the Month for May, MLB announced Wednesday.
Hendriks had a sensational month, logging 11 2/3 innings across 13 appearances without allowing an earned run. He also struck out 19, walked just two batters and was 8-for-8 in save chances in May.
Hendriks has a 2.05 ERA and 0.82 WHIP in 23 appearances this season.
