(670 The Score) The White Sox have placed lefty reliever Garrett Crochet on the 15-day injured list with left shoulder inflammation, the club announced Tuesday afternoon.
The move is retroactive to Saturday. Crochet has a 3.60 ERA in 10 appearances this season.
In a corresponding move, the White Sox reinstated right-hander Jimmy Lambert from the injured list. He had been sidelined since late May by right ankle inflammation. Lambert has a 5.91 ERA in 23 appearances for the White Sox this season.
The White Sox host the Rangers on Tuesday evening at Guaranteed Rate Field.
