(670 The Score) The White Sox will skip left-hander Dallas Keuchel's turn in the rotation Saturday as he continues to deal with back stiffness, manager Rick Renteria said Wednesday.

Keuchel left early from his start at Kansas City on Sunday, exiting because of the back ailment after throwing five scoreless innings. The White Sox are taking a cautious approach and Renteria expressed hope that Keuchel will be ready for his next turn, which would come against the Twins later next week. The White Sox didn't yet reveal who will start in Keuchel's place Saturday.

Keuchel has been terrific in his first season in Chicago, going 6-2 with a 2.19 ERA and 1.05 WHIP in nine starts.
