(Audacy) Fresh off another NBA title, Warriors forward Draymond Green has been basking in the spotlight and calling out anyone and everyone who has a problem with him or one of his teammates.
On Sunday evening, he was at it again, as Green sent out a series of tweets while he watched a replay of an NBA Finals game between the Bulls and the Jazz in 1998. He proclaimed that the 2017 Warriors would have no problem handling the Michael Jordan-led 1996 and 1998 Bulls, believing the Warriors would win "by a dub."
Some notable people in the NBA community chimed in on Green's hot take, including 2017 Warriors member Kevin Durant, who agreed, as well as ESPN analyst Richard Jefferson, who flat out ripped Green's take to shreds -- calling that year's Warriors squad only the "second-best team" he's played against.
The 2017 Warriors went 67-15 and won the NBA title in Durant's first year in Golden State.
The 1996 Bulls went 72-10 and won the NBA championship over the Sonics, while the 1998 Bulls went 62-20 and beat the Jazz in the NBA Finals in Jordan's final season in Chicago.
