(RADIO.COM Sports) A man saved a hockey rink in upstate New York on Wednesday after the Zamboni he was driving burst into flames. You can watch the video above.
The vehicle caught fire at Bill Gray's Regional Iceplex in Brighton, New York after a hose broke that leaked hydraulic fluid on the machine's motor, WHAM in Rochester reported.
After bursting into flames, the driver was able to safely drive the ice resurfacer off the ice where the fire was extinguished.
No one was on the ice at the time of the fire.
The driver probably saved the rink from further damage with his heroic effort, driving the machine while it was on fire.
