Dalquist, 18, stands 6-foot-1 and 175 pounds and has a fastball that usually sits in the low 90s and reaches 95, according to MLB.com's scouting report. His primary second pitch is his curveball.
His slot value at No. 81 overall is $755,300, per MLB.com. Dalquist was the second straight high school pitcher whom the White Sox selected in the draft.
