(670 The Score) Double-A outfielder Luis Robert and Class-A left-hander Konnor Pilkington have been named the White Sox's Minor League Player of the Month and Pitcher of the Month for April, respectively.
Robert, 21, hit .453 with eight homers, 24 RBIs, 21 runs, a .512 on-base percentage and a .920 slugging percentage in 19 games for Class-A Winston-Salem. That performance earned him a promotion to Double-A Birmingham on Tuesday.
Pilkington, 21, was 1-0 with a 2.01 ERA and 28 strikeouts in 22 1/3 innings across four starts in April. He held foes to a .130 batting average. His 0.77 WHIP ranks eighth in the South Atlantic League.
