(670 The Score) The White Sox have purchased the contract of right-hander Evan Marshall from Triple-A Charlotte and optioned right-hander Thyago Vieira to Triple-A, they announced Wednesday.
Marshall, 29, has thrown 10 scoreless innings in nine relief appearances at Triple-A this season. He has a 5.15 ERA across parts of five MLB seasons with the Diamondbacks, Mariners and Indians.
Vieira didn't make an appearance for the White Sox after being recalled from Triple-A on Sunday.
