(670 The Score) The White Sox revealed their tentative 2021 schedule Thursday.
Chicago will open its season at the Los Angeles Angels on Thursday, April 1, 2021. That day will serve as Opening Day for all 30 teams in the league. The White Sox will host the Royals in their home opener on April 8.
MLB released its 2021 schedule so early in part to help entice season-ticket holders to roll over their money for the next season as the 2020 campaign is set to get started without fans in the stands. If fans are allowed in ballparks in 2020, it will be at a reduced capacity amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The White Sox and Cubs will play six times in 2021 -- at Wrigley Field from Aug. 6-8 and then at Guaranteed Rate Field from Aug. 27-29.
