(670 The Score) The White Sox have signed first-round pick Andrew Vaughn to a deal with a $7.221 million bonus, according to multiple reports.

That figure represents the full slot value for the No. 3 overall spot, which is where the White Sox took him.

A first baseman out of Cal, Vaughn hit .374 with 15 homers, 50 RBIs and a 1.243 OPS in 52 games in his junior season. He also posted a .539 on-base percentage. Vaughn, 21, won the Golden Spikes Award in 2018, an honor given to the nation's best amateur baseball player. He was also named to the All-Pac 12 first team in each of his three collegiate seasons.
