Well, this might be a little awkward.
The Philadelphia 76ers have signed center Andre Drummond to a one-year deal, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.
Drummond, who will back up Joel Embiid, has been one of Embiid's biggest targets on and off the court.
Back in Embiid's social media heyday, Drummond often took plenty of heat from Embiid.
Drummond, 27, played for the Cavs and Lakers last season, averaging 14.9 points, 12.0 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks in 27.0 minutes per game. Drummond is just a 47-percent free-throw shooter for his career.
While he likely won't see that kind of playing time in Philadelphia, Drummond could certainly be a valuable backup center for the Sixers.
The other moves the Sixers have made in free-agency thus far as re-signing Furkan Korkmaz to a three-year, $15 million deal, while Dwight Howard and George Hill will not be back with the team.
