The Dallas Cowboys legend and Hall of Famer called for the NFL to "take the dresses off" after Chiefs defensive tackle was flagged on a highly dubious roughing-the-passer call.

"My hope is the Competition Committee looks at this at the next set of meetings, and, you know, we take the dresses off," Aikman mused.

The controversial roughing call came just a day after the Atlanta Falcons were penalized on a similarly dubious play against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

While Aikman's apparent frustration over roughing penalties is largely shared by many fans and journalists, his framing apparently left much to be desire.

The remark didn't go over particularly well on social media, where the longtime broadcaster was accused of misogyny.
