Craig Laughlin to miss 'a few games' of Caps' playoff run on doctor's orders

Once again, get well soon, Locker.

Craig Laughlin announced on social media that he will not be in Montreal on the call of Capitals-Canadiens Game 3 Friday night, nor will he be on the call for ‘a few games,’ as his medical team has advised him to sit out.

“I haven’t been feeling 100%,” Laughlin wrote on X. “My cardiology and medical team have advised me to miss a few games. I'm so disappointed to step away from the booth again, but I can't wait to rejoin our broadcast team!”

Laughlin underwent heart surgery in mid-January, which he has detailed on our airwaves, and missed two months of broadcasts while recovering, returning for the Caps’ game against Buffalo on March 30.

The Audacy DC family sends our best to Locker to rest up and get ready for what we all hope is a season that doesn’t end until a parade in Chinatown in June!
