Chris Russell loves Jerry Jones' decision to retain Mike McCarthy as Cowboys head coach

Many expected it to happen. Many in Dallas really wanted it to happen. But, it didn't happen. Even after the Green Bay Packers marched into 'Jerry World' and ate the Cowboys' lunch on Super Wild Card Weekend sending the NFC East champions and No. 2 seed in the NFC home in embarassing fashion.

No, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones decided he would not fire head coach Mike McCarthy despite Dallas missing out on a conference title game appearance for the umpteenth consecutive year.

And one person in Washington is very happy that didn't happen and he goes by the name of Chris Russell. So Russell decided to talk about Ole Jerry's big decision to retain his head coach and producer Matthew Essig jumped into the conversation to explain why he is also not upset that McCarthy is still in Dallas, but for a bit of a different reason.
