The Georgetown Hoyas (11-12) upset the Villanova Wildcats (16-6) with a thrilling 72-71 victory to advance to the semifinals of the Big East Tournament on Thursday.
Villanova is ranked 14th in the country and entered as the No. 1 seed in the tournament.
The Hoyas entered the tournament with nine wins, almost certainly not destined for an NCAA Tournament appearance outside of a longshot chance at winning their conference tournament.

Enjoy the thrill of the game-winning call from the voice of Georgetown basketball himself, the venerable Rich Chvotkin.
