Last week, following Philly’s bad loss to the 49ers, Jason Kelce said there would be more anxiety and a different vibe in the building. That remains the case this week.

The Eagles, in a badly needed bounce-back game, ended up getting trounced by the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. For two straight weeks now they’ve gotten smacked by an NFC contender, a concerning trend as the Eagles now enter a soft part of their schedule.

It would be concerning if the Eagles lost both games. That they’ve gotten pummeled both times is a sign that there are some glaring holes that they were able to hide during their 10-1 start.

Kelce told the 94WIP Morning Show on Wednesday that the intensity of the bad feelings are only ratcheting up.

“Similar to last week, everybody is pissed off,” Kelce said. “Not only pissed off at the loss, but losing in the way we have. Now it’s even more intensified. Whenever you're facing adversity, everyone’s senses are heightened. You get into these states of everybody’s wanting and anxious really to get things corrected and to be shown what and where and how to do things to make that happen. Nobody likes losing football games, everybody likes winning football games. Especially with the standard that we've set for ourselves and how good everybody on this team thinks that we can be, guys are going to want to get things corrected.

“There’s going to be a lot of energy, a lot of – obviously there’s already been a lot of discussions that have to be (had). You come into work and find out a lot about the guys that are really driven and competitive individuals.”

The Eagles will look to get back on track Monday against the Seahawks. Although the Seahawks are a potential playoff team, they’re not quite in the same strata as the Cowboys or 49ers. That said, the Eagles have lost to Seattle in each of their last seven meetings.
