It was 50 years ago this weekend that Secretariat won the Belmont Stakes, and thus the Triple Crown, by 31 lengths with a time that is still the record for a 1 1/2-mile dirt race. This year’s Belmont is Saturday, and a day before the final leg of the Crown, Ramiro Restrepo, one of the co-owners of Kentucky Derby winner Mage (who is not running the Belmont) joined Kevin Sheehan to remember Secretariat’s record and discuss this year’s Triple Crown races!
