Can you smell it? It's time for the Smell Test! Kevin Sheehan is coming off a fantastic week of football action and here are six picks from college football and NFL Week 8.
WHAT’S KEVIN'S FOOTBALL "SMELL TEST"?
It’s a contrarian handicapping philosophy. I look for the games where the public is convinced they have it figured out on a game's point spread or total and I go the other way. There’s more to it than that but for the most part, it’s the realization over many years that the house wins more than it loses and the house advantage comes from more than just the built-in vig/fee.
This is my 18th year doing the Smell Test on radio and/or podcast. I've had 12 winning seasons and five losing seasons.
