Kevin Sheehan's Smell Test picks for NFL Week 3, college football

After two weeks of the NFL (and three for college football) the Smell Test is locked at .500. So, things are doing pretty well all things considered. This week, we got eight games for college football and seven for the NFL, including the Washington Commanders on Monday Night Football.

WHAT’S KEVIN'S FOOTBALL "SMELL TEST"?

It’s a contrarian handicapping philosophy. I look for the games where the public is convinced they have it figured out on a game's point spread or total and I go the other way.  There’s more to it than that but for the most part, it’s the realization over many years that the house wins more than it loses and the house advantage comes from more than just the built-in vig/fee.

This is my 19th year doing the Smell Test on radio and/or podcast. I've had 13 winning seasons....5 losing seasons.
