It did not take long for things to get weird on an NFL Tuesday night.
Early in the first quarter, on the Eagles’ first possession of the game, Jalen Hurts was looking to connect with tight end Dallas Goedert when he was unable to come down with the ball.

The ball bounced up and into Washington safety Landon Collins hands who began running it back toward the end zone but the refs blew the whistle and ruled the play an incomplete pass.
Yet, Collins seemed to be the only one on the field who knew that was the wrong call.
Replay review showed that as Goedert dropped the ball it hit off his back heel and went into the hands of Collins for an interception.
The call was overturned, but Collins had a clean shot at the end zone for a pick-six. Instead, Washington took over on the Philadelphia 24-yard line and would score eight plays later to put them up 7-0 early.
But the wacky interception left everyone on social media stunned with many ripping the refs for missing a pick-six TD.
