Game 7 between the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics will be missing a key fixture of the NBA playoffs in play-by-play announcer Mike Breen.
Breen will not call the game on Sunday night after testing positive for COVID-19, according to Andrew Marchand of the New York Post.
The 60-year-old Hall of Fame announcer has been in the booth for the first six games of the series but will instead be replaced with Mark Jones, who will call the game alongside Jeff Van Gundy and Mark Jackson for ABC at 8:30 p.m. ET.
An ESPN spokesman told Marchand that Breen is experiencing mild symptoms and expects to be healthy to call Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night.
