A week after a couple of questionable calls may have cost the Maryland Terrapins a big win – and being ranked – head coach Mike Locksley tells Kevin Sheehan his team has got that game "out of their system" and is focused on improving for Saturday's game against the Indiana Hoosiers.
"For us, this has been out of our system since Monday," Locksley told The Team 980. "And we talk a lot about, once it's over we gotta let it die. So now every piece of our attention this week has been about how do we execute better against Indiana because it comes down to execution. And really, the good teams execute at a high level and we're kind of right there in that 70% range and we need to be in that 80s, 85, 90 percent in terms of how we execute the things we're doing in all three phases."
Locksley said Maryland is focused on cleaning up their offense to not miss opportunities on "explosive plays" and to not leave plays on the field to get the offense scoring in the high 30s and 40s.
