PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – The best receiver in college football is reportedly strongly considering transferring from Pitt.
93.7 The Fan’s Andrew Fillipponi among the first to report Jordan Addison plans to leave the Panthers and reportedly will land at USC and new head coach Lincoln Riley. It’s been confirmed by long-time college football writer Pete Thamel, Alan Saunders of Pittsburgh Sports Now and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Earlier Friday quarterback Joseph Yellen entered the NCAA Transfer Portal. Players have until May 1 to transfer without losing a year of eligibility.
Addison broke out after a solid freshman season to catch 100 passes from Kenny Pickett for 1,593 yards and 17 touchdowns in 2021. The Maryland native also returned 12 punts for a 15.4 average.
The third Biletnikoff Award winner in Pitt history, Addison was also a consensus All-American and first-team All-ACC.
