The Junkies don't believe a word of Kevin Willard's story before leaving for Villanova: 'He's definitely a weasel'

Kevin Willard officially bailed for Villanova on Sunday, ending a saga that was anywhere from two weeks to much longer in development – and ended the same way, almost verbatim, Willard’s tenure at Seton Hall did as he was leaving for Maryland.

To the Junkies, yeah, there’s no way they can believe anything Willard said, or anything other than agreeing with JP Finlay calling him a weasel.

The focus now turns to finding a replacement, which could be hard with only an interim AD in place, but there’s definitely some confusion even after University president Darryll Pines and interim AD Colleen Sorum laid out what they offered Willard to stay not long after he bolted.

“What’s kind of crazy is we still don't know what Maryland is willing to offer? Are they willing to up the salary of the head coach? Are they willing to put more money into the basketball program?” Bish said. “We just don't know. This interim AD, Colleen Sorum, who Willard was not a fan of, who Mark Turgeon was not a fan of, we just don't know. We don't know what they're willing to pay, and what percentage of the revenue the basketball program is gonna get. We just don’t know what the numbers are.”
