Brooks Robinson, the greatest defensive third baseman to ever play Major League Baseball, died on Tuesday at the age of 86. Known as "the Human Vacuum Cleaner" and "Mr. Oriole." By the numbers his mark left on the game and in Baltimore where he played all 23 of his big league seasons for the Orioles is incredible: 2,896 career games, 2,848 hits, a .971 career fielding percentage, 6,205 assists, 16 Gold Glove Awards, the 1964 AL MVP, the 1970 World Series MVP and countless incredible plays in the field. But on top of all that, because of his kindness and warm-heartedness, the number of children in the Baltimore-Washington area who were named after him is incredible.

To remember the legacy of the most beloved athlete in the history of the City of Baltimore long-time columnist in the area for and now with The Washington Times, Thom Loverro joined Kevin Sheehan to talk about the Orioles legend.
