2024 NFL Draft: Commanders Day 3 pick tracker for Rounds 4-7

After taking Jayden Daniels No. 2 overall Thursday night and making five picks on Day 2 of the 2024 NFL Draft, the Washington Commanders headed into Day 3 with three picks: their fifth-round selection at No. 139, the fifth (No. 161) they got from the Eagles when they traded out of No. 40 Friday night, and the No. 222 overall pick in Round 7.

ROUND 5, NO. 139 OVERALL: LB Jordan Magee, Temple
Magee was a Second Team All-AAC Selection in 2023 after posting a team-high 80 tackles (14 for loss), 3.5 sacks and a forced fumble. Over five seasons with the Owls, Magee had 235 tackles (31 for loss), eight sacks, one INT, and two forced fumbles.

ROUND 5, NO. 161 OVERALL: S Dominique Hampton, Washington
Hampton’s sixth year at Washington was a career one, as he totaled 109 tackles, two interceptions, and nine passes defensed, earning Honorable Mention All-Pac 12 honors for the national runners-up. In his six seasons with the Huskies, Hampton, who can play a hybrid safety/linebacker spot in a Dan Quinn defense, had 190 tackles, 2 INT, 16 passes defensed, and one forced fumble.

ROUND 7, NO. 222 OVERALL: EDGE Javontae Jean-Baptiste, Notre Dame
Jean-Baptiste transferred to South Bend in 2023 after four years at Ohio State, and had a career season. The edge rusher played in all 13 games and had 49 tackles (a team-high 10.5 for loss), five sacks, and a forced fumble. Prior to that, Jean-Baptiste played 45 games at Ohio State, recording 53 tackles (11 for loss) and eight sacks.
