Chris Russell argues Ben Johnson saying no to Washington job isn't that bad for Commanders

For some Washington fans around town, the sky is falling. For the first time since Ron Rivera was fired and Adam Peters was hired as general manager, the Commanders have suffered a minor setback in Josh Harris' first offseason in charge as owner.

The big news: Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson – considered by many to have been the front-runner to be Washington's next head coach – turned down the opportunity for an in-person interview with the team and let it be known he was staying in Detroit.

Chris Russell doesn't understand why so many people in the Commanders fan base were "Ben or Bust" as Washington's next head coach. Russell sees this as not the disaster that many were acting like it is.
