Not too many, if any, surprise cuts among the Commanders’ moves to get down to their initial 53-man roster, but there was one Tuesday morning that sparked a debate: Jake Fromm was released, leaving the Commanders with just two quarterbacks, and no assurance Fromm will make it through waivers and possibly onto the practice squad.
With cutdowns the focus of Tuesday’s Chris Russell Show – which, of course, was on-air in the final three hours of the window – Rooster gave his thoughts and took a lot of calls on how the Commanders dealt with Fromm.
