The Washington Commanders spent the first day of the window to speak to free agents locking down a pair of offensive linemen.
After coming to an agreement with guard Nick Gates, Washington and tackle Andrew Wylie have agreed to a deal, per multiple reports.
Wylie, who played five seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs and started all 17 games during their run to the Super Bowl, will reportedly sign a three-year, $24 million deal with the Commanders when the league year begins on Wednesday.
Wylie played the last two seasons at right tackle, but he will also offer Washington some versatility as he played mostly at right guard during the 2020 (874 snaps) and 2018 (574 snaps) seasons and mostly at left guard (686 snaps) during the 2019 season.
