The Dallas Cowboys' 45-10 win over the Washington Commanders on Thanksgiving last season was the third straight Thursday Night Football game in which the Under missed.
That streak continued another seven games, giving the Under its worst run in Thursday Night Football history. And while that losing streak ended in Week 2 with the Buffalo Bills 31-10 win over the Miami Dolphins — and even had a three-game winning streak from Week 2-4 — it’s still on pace for another terrible season.
The Under was dominant on Thursday Night Football in both 2021 and 2022, going a combined 24-13 (.649). The ROI of 23.9% was the best two-year return since the first two years, 2009-10 (31.6%).
But since hitting 12 times each in 2021 and 2022, the Under has hit 10 total times (10-19) since the start of last season. It’s hit only once in the last five games, the New York Jets' win over the Houston Texans in Week 9.
