Lynnell Willingham is back on the Hoffman show to share his first Commanders Overreaction of the 2024 calendar year: "I think Eric Bieniemy has the ability to develop a young quarterback."
Willingham's statement runs in contrast to Craig Hoffman's sentiments about Washington's offensive coordinator's ability to develop a young QB – specifically how he managed second-year passer Sam Howell – and questions Willingham about what Bieniemy has shown this year to indicate he could be successful at this.
"What about this season, Lynnell, made you think that Eric Bieniemy is the proper guy to develop a young quarterback?" Hoffman said.
