Commanders sign WR Chris Moore to practice squad
The Commanders have signed WR Chris Moore to the practice squad, adding some more potential depth to a depleted unit.
Moore, 31, is in his ninth NFL season and on his fifth team since being a fourth-round pick of the Ravens in 2016. He only appeared in one game for the Cardinals earlier this year, but just last season he had 22 catches for 424 yards with the Titans.
He has 138 career catches for 1,710 yards and eight touchdowns in 107 games with the Ravens, Texans, Titans and Cardinals.
Noah Brown is on IR and out for the season due to an internal injury, while Dyami Brown has not practiced this week due to a hamstring injury and Terry McLaurin was limited Thursday as he battles an ankle issue.
The Commanders do have Jamison Crowder back and K.J. Osborn could be active this week, but adding Moore gives them extra veteran depth. Washington also has Mitchell Tinsley and Brycen Tremayne on the practice squad.
