The Philadelphia Eagles have led at halftime in each of their last nine games, the longest streak for any NFL team this season. To reach 10 games, they’ll have to hold a 30-minute lead over the last team that prevented them from doing so, the Washington Commanders.

In the first half of their eventual Week 11 win over the Commanders, the Eagles failed to score a touchdown on five drives. They punted three times, missed a field goal, and converted a chip-shot field goal in trailing 7-3. The Eagles’ failed first-half cover as a 2.5-point favorite was one of only three losses against the first-half spread over their final 14 games (including the postseason).

The Commanders, meanwhile, had their own dominant first-half betting run this season. From Weeks 3-15, they covered 10 times in 12 games (and went 10-1-1 on the moneyline). In Week 16, they suffered the first of three straight first-half ATS losses, a 21-14 deficit against the Eagles as a 3.5-point underdog.

As of Tuesday’s NFC Championship odds at BetMGM, Philadelphia is a 3.5-point first-half favorite:

Spread: Eagles -3.5 (-110), Commanders +3.5 (-110)
Total: Over 23.5 (-110), Under 23.5 (-110)
Moneyline: Eagles -210, Commanders +170
