Let's not leave any Commanders fans in any suspense about Craig Hoffman's No. 1 observation and the biggest takeaway he had from Washington's 29-26 defeat to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday: Sam Howell is playing excellent football.
And that, even in a losing effort in which Ron Rivera's team fell to 4-6 and had another dispiriting effort on defense (Hoffman's No. 2 observation: This defense does not have the horses) the top takeaway will be the biggest thing to come out of this season on the field and the best news for the team moving forward.
Hoffman shares his other eight observations from the Commanders' walk-off loss to the Seahawks with a few of them being about Eric Beineimy's offense experiencing some lulls during the game and how if the team wants to win games, they can't have several three and outs in a row.
Plus, he addresses long snapper Cameron Cheeseman's poor snaps before discussing defensive back Emmanuel Forbes being ejected from the game in the first quarter for an illegal helmet hit.
