Decoding Commanders HC Dan Quinn: Insights from Atlanta with D. Orlando Ledbetter on Hoffman Show

After a very lengthy search, owner Josh Harris and GM Adam Peters are hiring Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn to be the next head coach of the Washington Commanders.

To get some insights on Quinn, Craig Hoffman spoke to D. Orlando Ledbetter, Falcons beat writer for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, to unravel his coaching legacy from his six seasons as head coach when he compiled a 43-42 record with two playoff trips and one Super Bowl appearance.

Together, Ledbetter and Hoffman discuss Quinn's coaching style and potential takeaways from his tenure in Atlanta – which ended after an 0-5 start to the 2020 season and saw him replaced by Raheem Morris as interim head coach. (Morris who went on to be defensive coordinator with the Los Angeles Rams after that season was hired as the Falcons head coach earlier this offseason.)

Quinn, 53, was the defensive coordinator with the Cowboys the past three seasons and was named 2021 assistant coach of the year.
