JUNKIES: Brad Spielberger thinks Chase Young could now be a possible draft day trade target?

Draft Day has arrived, and the Sports Junkies welcomed in PFF's Brad Spielberger for one last chat about the first round - and he had an interesting thought on Chase Young's fifth-year option being declined and the possibility that Young could now be part of a Draft Day trade:

"I don't know if it's super likely, because we've seen the Commanders be patient, but I had a bit of a conspiracy theory based on language that they plan to decline it, but haven't filed the paperwork," he said. "My thought was maybe they're telling other teams that Young isn't in their long-term plans, but you can trade for him and maybe pick up the option if he might be in yours."

So what could the Commanders possibly get in a Young trade tonight?

"They're not going to get a first-rounder, but maybe a late-second or some future capital with conditions attached to it," Spielberger said. "It's so hard to gauge with the injury, because when he does play, he's a phenomenal player, so I wouldn't think they'd sell too low."

Spielberger also weighed in on where the Commanders might be targeting at No. 16 as we approach the first round, including the thoughts that they may move back if one of the top quarterbacks is still available at 16 and someone in the low-teens or high-20s might want to move up. Take a listen above!
