You’re gonna hear a lot from him at 2 p.m. when he and Danny Rouhier take the air for their own four-plus-hour coping session, so we won’t transcribe all of what Grant Paulsen had to say about the Misery at MetLife (is that the opposite of a Miracle at the Meadowlands) when he joined The Junks Monday.
But, we have to give you this quick summation of Grant explaining the heat he got for his Tweet noting the Commanders’ lack of offense Sunday, so you know what you’re gonna hear in this clip and from 2-6:30 tonight:
“I'm not making the case that Scott Turner is a better offensive coordinator, we all agreed he wasn't good enough. What I am saying is, it's hard to only score seven points in a game in this league,” GP said. “The rules are designed for points and offense, and they have scored seven or fewer twice in five weeks. If you back through the annals here, I mean, twice in one year? Most years, that doesn't happen once. There's been one season, and it was the Bill Callahan run fest after Jay got fired, where it happened three times, but otherwise, over the past 10 seasons, there's like three years where they've never scored seven or fewer points in a single game once.”
Yup, that kind of day around here. Make GP and the Junks feel better and listen to it all above!
