Chase Young, who then Washington Redskins selected with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, recently signed a one-year deal with the New Orleans Saints that includes a lot of nonguaranteed money in case of injury and then almost immediately underwent surgery on his neck.

Kevin Sheehan discusses a new report that suggests the stinger Young sustained in the preseason last year that is believed to be the root of the injury may have been something that he dealt with since college.

Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer reported last week that "scans on his neck made it tough to find a suitor" and that "No one would clear him on his physical."

On Young, Breer added that he was part of the 2020 draft class that "had its process messed up because of COVID" and that there is a "decent chance, given a full process, someone would've found the neck condition."

Sheehan wonders if Washington had discovered the issue would they have passed on Young and gone for a quarterback instead? Listen to his thoughts on the audio player above!
